The Pine Creek Trailhead is the trailhead for the town of Pinehurst. For this reason it’s often referred to as the Pinehurst Trailhead. The Town of Pinehurst is located approximately 2 miles to the Southwest of this trailhead and can be accessed by a paved connector trail.

This trailhead has picnic tables and informational guides but no restrooms. If you are looking to only bike the natural non-commercial portions of the trail, then this might be the trailhead for you. For the most part the entire trail southwest of the Pinehurst Trailhead is in natural areas with very few commercial buildings or road noise.

To access this trailhead coming from Spokane or Coeur D Alene, follow eastbound I-90 to exit 45. Turn left on East Fork Pine Creek Rd (AKA: Old Hwy 10). After going under I-90 look for the trailhead on the left. If you go under I-90 again, you’ve gone too far.

Travelling from Montana, follow westbound I-90 to exit 45. Turn right on East Fork Pine Creek Rd (AKA: Old Hwy 10). The trailhead is on the left. If you go under I-90, you’ve gone too far.

Pine Creek/Pinehurst is not a shuttle stop for the Cycle Haus shuttle.
